Need help decorating a teenage normal seized room (see detail)?
I’m just moving in a new house and I’m trying to decorate my room, I was wondering if anyone knew any good places online where I can buy these room idea decorations / bedding / furniture
here are my ideas:
– retro 40’s / 50’s movie star glam theme
– music / rock star oriented theme
– very high fashioned (as in cloths) theme
Additional information
– I am a girl but I don’t want my room to be too girly I don’t like pink or light blues very much but more solid sexier colors like red, black, purple, or normal blue
– My interests include singing, playing guitar, fashion and acting
Also if you have any other ideas that might fit my interests that would help a lot!
If I were you…
I’d paint the room with a feature wall. IE, three white walls and one really bright one, so red or purple or whatever is your favourite. That way if your tastes change its easy to redecorate accordingly or to just change that one wall.
For good but affordable decorations I’d recommend Ikea, you can get rugs/bedspreads/lamps/curtain etc, all in a matching theme if you like or whatever catches your fancy. Op shops also have some great stuff if youre looking for older things!

Or if you want to go a ‘rock’ sorta theme just make your own artwork, splatters and graffiti sorts of things (you can get great pre-made canvases cheap at shops like GoLo)
